Brentwood Eels U12's got their season underway with a 9's Festival hosted by the Brixton Bulls, it was a first taste of a competitive League rugby for all of the Eels boys, but you wouldn't have known it!

Three of the four matches that the Eels played were close encounters and could have gone either way, Eels coming out on the wrong side of two of the encounters, with 2-1 losses in both of the ties against Brixton, an impressive 2-1 victory over Elmbridge giving them their only lose of the day in the final fixture.

The Eels improved as the day went on, and set out a good base for the team to build on over the coming weeks.
