Eels cap of their last home game of the season with an outstanding 12 try performance, The record breaking win secures playoffs for the second year running in the southern conference league putting 12 unanswered tries past over fellow contenders Bristol All Golds. Which led to them retiring the game at 60 minutes.

In only the second time playing Bristol All Golds it was their turn to fight the 300+ mile round trip, the opposite fixture Eels lost with All Golds scoring a late try to see the win in which could of take the scores level to win 28-16. Eels started with a little more confidence of the back of a 46-4 win the first set ended up with a penalty for a ball strip, Eels applied some good pressure and setup good attacking shape only for the last pass to be dropped by MOTOM Whitcombe, this was the only set of the half Brentwood did not complete with some sublime handling and attacking play Eels come in a whopping 46-0 at the break. The only downside to the first half was losing the two Harry's Crellin and Pyke who will hope to be fit for the semi final this coming weekend.

The second half started how the first ended with another try on the first set for Callum Smith to nab his first try for the club after fellow Callum. Whitcombe joined the line create an overlap. There was a last hurah from Bristol as they swandered their best possession of the game amounting three back to back sets with some tactical play and kicks but none were rewarded with points. As the visitors tired Eels sprung three more tries from depth as holes seemed to turn larger every set to round up the score at 68-0 at the end of the third quarter where Bristol All Golds requested for the game to end.

We travel to Wasps FC next week to play minor premier winners and league leaders Wests Warriors this coming Saturday 9th September in the Southern Conference League Playoff Semi Final 2:30 KO
