The Eels record their highest win in the Southern Conference league to date over old East RL rivals Bedford Tigers. A strong team performance that was ruthless at times, once the two week break rust was shaken off. That said, it was a great way to link up a memory to our first 100% homegrown match day squad!

The first half ended 28-8 but some strong performances carried into the second with young 18 yr old Cody Chamberlin picking up top carrier he turned from score to provider to gift Georgie Treffers his first of two tries on the day. George Harkins who was later voted man of the match for his facilitation of the ever improving left edge. again another 18yr old in the squad at this level is a great sign for the future.
