The Eels welcomed the League leaders to Brentwood for their final home league fixture of the season. Charlton Gunners were the only team that could do the double over the U13's and the boys were desperate to avoid that. Once again the lads didn't play to their potential but managed to keep the Gunners at bay as they pushed us all the way in a closely fought encounter. The Eels defence which has been our strength all season was on show, although our line-speed allowed the Gunners to make easy metres. Lamar Douglas and Rian Horsman scored all of our 34 points on the day, but make no mistake the whole team contributed to this win with some fluid passing and solid defence on show. Louis Duffy, Mat Murphy, Ryan Whitcombe and Billy Amas all played well.

Unfortunatley due to school rugby commitments and our participation in the Leeds Rhinos Challenge we were unable to complete all of our fixtures which has impacted upon our standing in the League table. Hopefully we will still make the play-offs though!
