Yesterday, the Eels hosted the South-East England Lion trials. 60 of the top U16 and U17 players from London and the South-East were invited to try out for the England Lions team.

Will Robertson, Jake Mitchell & Sid Hau represented the Eels at U16 level with Alfie Cross, Danny Harrington, George Sweeny, James Chapman, Oliver Cosentino, Riley Reed, Ronnie Chettur & Teddy Hinson trying out for the U17s.

Following this Trial, some players may be selected to take part in the “England Trial Game” in St Helens in March, alongside players who have been selected from the other Regional Trials. The final squads for the England Community Lions will be selected after the England Trial Game.
